Our name has a story. The university grew out of the “ARTIFEX” Foundation of the Craft Cooperative Sector, set up by UCECOM in 1992: Romania’s craftspeople built a school for those who run businesses. Their spirit of work done well, with hands and mind, lives on in today’s digital economy.
